Legal information about the website owner and the terms of use.

2. Purpose and scope
This legal notice governs access to and use of the website directorai.org (hereinafter "the Website") and of the DirectorAI software (hereinafter "the Software"), a desktop tool for automatically generating web directories and SEO blogs from data publicly accessible on the internet.
Accessing the Website and/or acquiring the Software confers the status of user (hereinafter "the User") and implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the conditions in this legal notice, as well as in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
3. Terms of use
The User undertakes to use the Website and the Software in accordance with the law, this legal notice, accepted standards of conduct and public order. In particular, the User agrees to:
- Not use the Website or the Software for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or in ways that harm the rights and interests of third parties.
- Not enter, store or distribute content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening or xenophobic, or that incites violence or discrimination.
- Not attempt to access restricted areas of the Website or the owner’s IT systems without authorisation.
- Not introduce viruses, malware or any other element that could damage the IT systems of the owner or of third parties.
- Use the Software and the generated directories in compliance with applicable law on data protection, unfair competition and intellectual property.
4. Nature of the Software and data collected
DirectorAI is desktop software that collects publicly available information from third-party platforms such as Google Maps, including data such as:
- Business trading names.
- Published address and contact details.
- Opening hours.
- User reviews and ratings.
- Categories and descriptions.
All information collected by the Software is public and freely accessible on the internet. Nevertheless, the User is solely responsible for the use they make of that information and of the web directories generated, and must comply at all times with applicable regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
The owner of DirectorAI accepts no responsibility for any improper use the User may make of the data obtained through the Software.
5. Intellectual and industrial property
All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, icons, software, source code, graphic design and other elements, belongs to the owner or to third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
In particular:
- The DirectorAI software, its source code, algorithms and documentation are the exclusive property of the owner.
- The "DirectorAI" trademark, its logo and associated graphic elements belong to the owner.
- Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, decompilation or reverse engineering of the Software is prohibited without the owner’s express written authorisation.
Acquiring a licence to use the Software grants the User no intellectual property rights over it, only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence of use.
6. Software licence of use
Purchasing DirectorAI executions or plans grants the User a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Software under the conditions contracted. Specifically:
- The licence is valid for a single user and may not be shared, assigned or sublicensed.
- The User may not modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Software.
- Executions purchased are single-use and are non-refundable once consumed.
- The owner reserves the right to revoke the licence in the event of fraudulent use or use contrary to these conditions.
7. Disclaimer of warranties and liability
The owner does not guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted availability of the Website or the Software; maintenance, update or improvement work may temporarily affect the service.
In particular, the owner is exempt from liability for:
- Service interruptions due to force majeure or causes beyond its control.
- The accuracy, truthfulness, currency or completeness of the data collected by the Software from third-party sources (such as Google Maps), since such data may change or be inaccurate at source.
- Any damage or loss arising from the User’s use of the Software, the generated directories or the data obtained.
- The User’s failure to comply with applicable regulations in relation to the directories published.
- Loss of data, profits or any other direct or indirect damage arising from use of the Website or the Software.
- The behaviour of the Software in unsupported environments or due to unsuitable configurations of the User’s equipment.
8. Refund policy
Given the digital nature of the product:
- Executions already consumed are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- For unused executions, the User may request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, in accordance with the right of withdrawal established by consumer law.
- To request a refund, the User must get in touch at info@directorai.org quoting their order number.
9. Payment methods
DirectorAI offers the following payment methods for purchasing executions and plans:
- Stripe: payment by credit/debit card and Klarna (instalments).
- PayPal: payment through a PayPal account.
- Google Pay: payment through Google Pay.
All payments are processed securely by external payment gateways. The owner neither stores nor has access to the User’s payment details (card numbers, banking credentials, etc.).
10. Third-party links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. The owner is not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of those external sites. Accessing them is the User’s sole responsibility.
11. Amendments
The owner reserves the right to amend this legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy at any time; it is the User’s responsibility to review these documents periodically. Continued use of the Website or the Software after changes are published implies acceptance of them.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from access to or use of the Website or the Software, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona, unless applicable law establishes a different jurisdiction.
